Team Information
With GP success spanning over 14 years in three different categories and World Championship wins notched up by Stefan Everts, Sebastien Tortelli and Mickael Maschio, the Kawasaki Racing Team that was started by Jan de Groot and masterfully managed by the gentle Dutchman until his sad passing away in the summer of 2007 is renowned as being one of the most successful motocross teams in the history of the sport.
Nurturing a list of successful GP riders that reads like a whos who of international motocross the Kawasaki Racing Team has seen success with riders including Stephen Sword, Fred Bolley, Chad Reed, Andrew McFarlane, Talon Vohland, Marnicq Bervoets and Billy MacKenzie as well as current team-leader Tanel Leok - KRT will continue to strive to the levels of success set by De Groot thanks to the dedication and hours of hard work shown by the team thats led by new manager Martin van Genderen. While Jan is still obviously sorely missed 2008 promises to be a good year for KRT with the continued on-track efforts of Leok and fresh signing Manuel Priem whos considered to be one of the most hard working and consistent riders in the GP paddock today.
